About the Role
Infiniti Air Conditioning & Heating is seeking a high-caliber gas technician to join our elite service team in Kitchener. This is a role for a seasoned professional who takes pride in technical excellence and safety. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of systems, including residential and commercial HVAC, gas lines, heat pumps, and rooftop units.

Mandatory Requirements

- Certification: A valid 313D (Residential Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic) and G2 Gas License are mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of verifiable field experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Expert Installation: Install and repair gas lines, appliances, and HVAC equipment in strict accordance with safety codes and technical schematics.
- Advanced Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex issues within boilers, furnaces, heat pumps, and commercial rooftop systems.
- Maintenance & Safety: Perform precision routine maintenance and conduct rigorous safety checks to identify hazards or leaks.
- Technical Literacy: Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings to ensure accurate system installations.
- System Modification: Utilize welding and piping techniques to modify systems as required for specific site conditions.
- Documentation: Maintain precise digital records of work performed, parts utilized, and safety compliance results.

Required Skills & Experience
- Installation Expertise: Minimum 3 years of specific experience installing furnaces, AC units, and heat pumps.
- Mechanical Knowledge: Strong background in plumbing, welding, or boiler operation.
- Code Compliance: Deep familiarity with TSSA standards and local safety regulations.
- Professionalism: Ability to collaborate with contractors on large-scale construction or maintenance projects.
