Job Overview
Menzies Aviation (NZ) Ltd is currently seeking motivated Mandarin-speaking Front of House Agents to join our airport check-in and terminal operations team at Auckland Airport.
This is a customer-facing airport role focused on delivering a safe, efficient, and friendly passenger experience, with particular support for Mandarin-speaking travellers. You will represent both Menzies Aviation and our airline partners in a professional and welcoming manner.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a brand ambassador for Menzies Aviation and airline partners

Assist passengers at check-in, boarding gates, queues, and terminal areas

Provide clear and accurate information in Mandarin and English (spoken and written)

Manage passenger flow to support on-time departures

Support passengers during flight delays, disruptions, or cancellations

Identify and assist passengers requiring additional support or special assistance

Handle passenger enquiries and concerns professionally

Maintain high standards of customer service and personal presentation

Work closely with airline staff, Duty Managers, and airport operational teams

Follow all aviation safety, security, and compliance regulations

Adhere to company policies, procedures, and service standards

Candidate Requirements

Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin

Confident spoken and written English skills

Strong customer service mindset with a calm, professional approach

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced airport environment

Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused

Flexible availability to work a 24/7 rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays

Previous experience in aviation, hospitality, tourism, or customer service is an advantage, but not required
