Job Overview
Wilsonart is currently hiring a full-time packer at its Temple, Texas, facility. This role involves pulling, inspecting, packing, and preparing materials for shipment according to customer and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
As a packer, your main duties will include:

Reviewing and evaluating pending orders

Pulling and confirming materials to complete orders

Cutting oversized laminate materials to meet order requirements
-
Inspecting materials to ensure quality standards are met
-
Selecting appropriate carts, skids, crates, or cartons for shipping
-
Accurately completing shipping and inventory paperwork
-
Packing and banding materials based on customer specifications
-
Prioritizing tasks to meet shipping deadlines
-
Operating lift trucks and platform lifts
-
Counting and tracking inventory materials
-
Supporting Wilsonart’s Continuous Improvement initiatives
-
Performing other warehouse or packing duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications

Basic computer skills for data entry and retrieval

Ability to read, write, and follow instructions clearly

Basic math skills for counting and measurements

Ability to identify materials and product characteristics

Strong task prioritization and time management skills

Ability to work independently and safely

Knowledge of manufacturing or warehouse processes (preferred)
Experience Requirements

Minimum 1 year of work experience required
